This quilt is a combination of an antique American quilt top and turn of the century reproduction fabric. This quilt was made by a master. It has been hand quilted, hand sewn, and has crisp points. The quilt is a traditional Large Scale Postage Stamp quilt pattern. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight with a little loft, super soft, and has a great drape. The quilt is in excellent condition. The maker backed the quilt(inside of jacket) with a cotton muslin fabric. The quilt making this jacket is pre-loved and will show wear appropriate for its age

Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
