This is a Future Heirloom and an original design by Lady Lancaster. It is a Broken Star quilt pattern. The quilt was made using a combination of a midcentury quilt kit and contrasting leopard fabric. This is a work horse and a show horse! You don’t need to be super careful with as it can withstand heavy wear. It is completely reversible and we love the wild jungle backing fabric on the inside of the jacket This can best be appreciated when the cuffs are rolled or the jacket is worn inside out. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, soft, and has a little loft (puffiness). This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. Please note: the sleeves are 4” longer than our standard Helen pattern.

Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
