It should go without saying that this topper was inspired by the actual one Dean wore in the movie; I mean, does it not give you instant flashbacks to all the iconic photos of JD in it? Double D Ranchwear started with this very 1950s-era classic silhouette, and took some creative liberties in roughing it up with a little grease and oil and dirt to give it a lived-in and well-loved look to make it ranch ready. Then they adorned it with a traditional grosgrain hatband and a strip of distressed cornflower blue calico for that “been wearing it forever” kind of feel.
